Hamburg Headquarters
In the heart of Hamburg lies the headquarters of our testing laboratories. In total, PAConsult operates at five laboratory sites, four of which are in Germany and one in Switzerland.
Near the Alster in the beautiful Hanseatic city, our laboratory is available to you at two addresses: The management, marketing, and controlling, as well as quality management, are located at our company headquarters in Birkenau. Here you will also find the labs where we perform sample testing.
Within walking distance, in Humboldtstraße, is our second testing laboratory where we primarily conduct packaging tests in addition to medical device testing. In our in-house manufacturing center, we design and produce custom holders, fixtures, and test stands for you.

Frequently asked questions
Can you tell us the guidelines or standards according to which we must test?
As an accredited test laboratory, we are only allowed to provide you with information that you can use to determine the standards relevant to you. We will be happy to assist you.
Can you send us a price list?
Our offers are created individually for our customers. The prices of the tests depend on many different factors, such as the size and weight of the test items/packaging/pallets as well as the type and duration of the test, the stress levels, and also the design.
Therefore, we cannot provide a universally valid price list. Please feel free to contact us about this.
How long is your accreditation valid?
Our accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 is valid indefinitely. It is subject to the DAkkS monitoring cycle, which is generally five years. This includes technical and systemic assessments at intervals of up to 18 months.
The cycle's progression, as well as extensions or other changes to the scope of accreditation, can lead to the issuance of a new accreditation certificate by the DAkkS. The accreditation can be terminated by us upon application or by the DAkkS through withdrawal of accreditation if regulations are not complied with.
We are always committed to maintaining our quality at the highest level in all areas, thus meeting the requirements of customers and notified bodies.

What information is needed to prepare a quotation or cost calculation?
The number and dimensions of the specimens are particularly important for inquiries. In addition, we will then consult with our specialists to find out which standards or test cycles are suitable for your requirements.
In which language are the quotations, test plans and reports written?
We generally prepare quotes in German or English, depending on the language in which the inquiry was made.
By default, the inspection plans and reports are always issued in English so that all documents can also be used for international customers. Upon request, reports can also be generated in German.
How long does it take from the inquiry to the finished test report?
Our standard is to process all inquiries promptly. Within a few business days, you will receive a suitable offer for your request.
How long the testing including report generation will ultimately take depends on many factors, such as the number of test samples and the scope of the test cycle that was requested.
The tests can usually be carried out in a few weeks.
